Big Mac in a Bowl


8 oz. lean ground beef
Salt & pepper, to taste
¼ Cup chopped yellow onion
2 oz. chopped dill pickle (sugar free) Shredded lettuce (unlimited)
1-2 Tbsp Walden Farms Thousand Island Dressing


  1. Season the ground beef with salt & pepper
  2. Brown hamburger in a frying pan over medium heat, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up the meat
  3. Drain off any fat
  4. Place desired amount of lettuce in a bowl and add hamburger, onion and dill pickle
  5. Top with dressing and toss

Servings: 8 oz. lean protein + ¼ C. veggies (the lettuce is unlimited – the sodium in the pickles should be considered if you use them unlimited)

TIP: Because this meal only uses ¼ C. veggies (onion), try making 1 ¾ C. rutabaga, turnip or jicama fries as a side dish.
