WHAT IS DERMAPLANING?

Anti-aging Skincare Treatment without the Chemicals

Dermaplaning is a dermatological treatment for facial exfoliation that is sometimes confused with microdermabrasion. While both processes involve removing dead skin cells from the first layer of skin, dermaplaning also removes vellus hair (peach fuzz) and does not abrade the skin. A. Dermaplaning is a maximum exfoliation method where a sterile blade is stroked along the skin at a 45 degree angle, removing the uppermost layer of dead skin cells and revealing a smoother, brighter complexion.

A. Dermaplaning promotes cellular turnover and increases collagen and elastin fibers, so it is superb as an anti aging treatment. Q. Will my hair grow back thicker after dermaplaning?
