WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR SKIN DURING A CHEMICAL PEEL?

With most peels, for the first few hours you may experience some stinging, burning, or tingling sensations. With some peels you may be red afterwards but not with most. Over the course of the next few days up to a week you will notice your skin starting to peel and flake as you shed the layers of dead skin, unless you’ve received a peel that contains little to no peeling. After 1-2 weeks, your skin will appear brighter, clearer, and more youthful.
