These are a few of our favorite skincare treatments for the fall season!

Happy October! We are officially in the throes of autumn! We love this time of year. The air is crisper, the leaves change color, and everything feels a little cozier.

With changing weather, however, comes changes to our skin! Certain treatments are better to have done during the fall season so, let’s talk about a few of our favorites!

Hydration Station

With less humidity in the air, your skin can lose a lot of its moisture and become dry. A great hydrating facial is the perfect way to make sure your complexion doesn’t get cracked and flaky.

Hydrafacials are a great way to help your skin retain moisture. The combination of exfoliation and hydrating infusing will leave your skin feeling softer, smoother, and clearer.

Laser Hair Removal

Tired of feeling like a werewolf? Laser hair removal could be the perfect solution for you! A gentle, non-invasive laser treatment significantly reduces hair growth anywhere on the body. Laser hair removal works for most skin types and while it won’t provide permanent hair removal, it causes the growth of hair to be much slower and finer. Most patients will see significant change after just a few treatments with their full treatment process being complete after six monthly treatments. You may also want to come in for a few maintenance treatments a year. Laser treatments are great to have in the fall because anytime the skin is treated with a laser, direct sun exposure and excessive sweating are not recommended following the treatment. With cooler temperatures and less sunlight, October is the perfect month to start!

Microneedling

Spooky season is the perfect time to get a vampire’s favorite treatment! Microneedling is a fantastic treatment for anyone who struggles with sagging or aging skin, acne scarring, enlarged pores, or uneven texture. It works by making tiny microinjuries in the skin that stimulate the natural healing process and the body’s production of collagen and elastin.

You can amp up your results by adding PRP to the treatment as well. This is where the technician will draw your blood prior to the procedure, put that blood in a machine that separates the platelet-rich plasma, then reapply the PRP to your skin after the microneedling. This gives you quicker healing and added benefits!

The fall is a great time to have microneedling done because there tends to be less sunlight outside and it is best to avoid direct sunlight for a few weeks following a Microneedling treatment. After your recovery, your skin will be softer, smoother, and brighter!

Injectables

While every time of the year is the perfect time to get your injectable treatments, we highly recommend the fall. If you have your BOO-Tox and dermal fillers done during the fall time, you will be able to showcase the full results for all of your holiday events!

Neurotoxins like Botox and Jeuveau work to diminish fine lines and wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes. They work by relaxing the muscle, giving you a smoother, softer-looking complexion. Dermal fillers can be used for a variety of things such as filling in lines, adding volume to places like the lips, and contouring areas of the face like the cheeks. Our expert injectors can come up with a plan that utilizes both neurotoxins and fillers to achieve your desired look.

If you are looking to change up your routine and better your skin health this fall, our expert technicians are here to help! We can create a custom treatment plan just for you!
